It's Spring folks....it's finally Spring and we are so ready to celebrate it. What better way to do that than to team up with Lucky Leaf and their delicious pie fillings, and FTD flower arrangements.
I was sent a package with some delicious pie fillings and some recipe cards to try out. The one that my family immediately requested, was the Blueberry Snack Bars. Oh my goodness, they are to die for.
Even though the recipe asks for Blueberry, I am going to make them again but this time using different pie fillings such as Strawberry, Cherry, Peach and Apple. Yum!
A few days before I received my package, I was gifted with a beautiful flower arrangement from FTD.
The Lavender Fields Mixed Flower Bouquet is the perfect Spring Bouquet to gift to a loved one or friend.
Just gorgeous!!!
So on to the Snack Bars, and let me show you real quick just how easy they are to make. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe, let me just say that my niece and nephew couldn't keep their hands off them and devoured 4 in one sitting. Yes, it's THAT good.
Blueberry Snack Bars
18-ounce package yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 eggs
8-oz package cream cheese
2 &1/2 cups confectioners sugar
21-ounce can Lucky Leaf Premium Blueberry Pie Filling
3/4 cup flaked coconut
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large mixing bowl, blend cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Pat mixture into buttered 10x15 inch jelly roll pan.
Beat cream until fluffy; blend in 2 eggs and sugar. Pour over cake mixture.
Spoon Lucky Leaf Premium Blueberry Pie Filling on top. Sprinkle with coconut and nuts. Bake for 45 minutes until lightly browned. Cool; cut into bars.
You definitely have to make these, they are the perfect get together treat.
If you want to gift someone special, their very own gorgeous flower arrangement, FTD is making that possible when you use this link to receive 10% off select Spring Arrangements.

ReplyDeleteUsually around Easter I will make a "not quite Carrot cake", its really just a spice cake for my oldest who loves carrot cake but cannot digest carrots. :( However, this year I have been having lots of fun playing with pie fillings. Most recently Cherry Cookie cups. I will for sure be making them again.
