I love fridays, I just know that I'll be using my printer for all the wonderful recipes being shared around blogland.

If you don't believe me, go on over to Overwhelmed with Joy and check out the recipes that other wonderful ladies are posting. BE prepared though, I know you'll be licking your lips at the delicious dishes.

So here is mine today, another crockpot/slow cooker one. I know, I know, I share a lot of them, but especially with Fall just around the corner, my slow cooker is brought out of hiding and begins it's long months of working, at least a few times a week, if not everyday.
I found this recipe a long time ago, online, the kids love it.

Cheesy Crockpot Tortellini

* 1 lb. Italian sausage
* 26 oz. jar pasta sauce
* 14 oz. can diced tomatoes with Italian seasonings, undrained
* 9 oz. pkg. refrigerated cheese tortellini
* 1 cup shredded pizza cheese OR grated Parmesan cheese

Cook sausage in heavy skillet over medium heat until browned, about 10 minutes. Stir sausage frequently to break up as it cooks. Drian well and place in 4-5 quart slow cooker. Add pasta sauce and tomatoes and stir well.

Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours. Then stir in tortellini, cover again and ccook on low for 30-40 minutes until pasta is tender and heated. Sprinkle with cheese and let stand 5 minutes before serving. 4 servings

  3. That dinner bell will be ringing with a little more enthusiasm now. Thanks!

  4. This is a keeper and sounds super yummy. My kids love pasta. Thanks bunches!

  5. I think I've seen this somewhere before and I know it struck me as easy and sounding good. But if you endorse it, well that's defnitely good enough for me. Printer's going as I write! :-)

  6. Hi there - Found your blog through a post over at A Chelsea Morning and had to stop by. New blogger here; I've been blogging 3 weeks now and I'm sorry to admit that I haven't actually cooked a meal since April. (I'm sure Cocoa Puffs do not count.) I'll definitely put you on my "visit regularly list". I need all the cooking inspiration I can get! Drop by my blog when you're in the neighborhood.

  7. Oh my, this sounds so good! I'm going to copy this one down... I love pasta and I adore using my crockpot :) Thanks so much for sharing!!!

  8. This sounds delicious, I'll be sure to try it. Although, I must admit I'll be using Oronzo's homemade maranara sauce instead of a jar of pasta sauce. :)

    Thanks so much for sharing and thanks for participating in my Five Ingredient Friday recipe exchange!

  9. We tried this for dinner tonight. It was a great hit!
