Cantonese Dinner!

YUMMO, I can't believe how good this one turned out. I'm pretty happy with all the new recipes I tried this week but this one has to get the highest ranking for us. It was delicious.

1-1/2 to 2 lbs. boneless beef round steak, cut into strips
1 T. oil
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
8-oz. can tomato sauce
3 T. brown sugar, packed
1-1/2 T. vinegar
1-1/2 t. salt
2 t. Worcestershire sauce

In a skillet over medium heat, brown beef strips in oil; drain. Place been, onion, green pepper and mushrooms in a slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well; pour over meat and vegetables.

Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours, or on high setting for 3 hours. Serves 4.
