You are genius, this so made me smile. Seeing that they even copied your other post about them without even removing the link to their own site shows how dumb they are.
I cant believe they are doing that, and even stole your "Changes Coming Soon" post. That is really pathetic, and definitely deserves legal action!! Good luck with that!
Luv it! lol. But if that blog is a robot-some-sort, who ever created it may never see it. Surely if they did work on the blog, and saw the last post they'd think Oh! I'll just delete this blog then!
It's a robot program. I've looked into it, talked to some web people and it's near impossible to get them to stop. Apparently once you put a RSS feed into the net, it's fair game to be stolen, how ridiculous is that?
There are a bunch of SEO companies out there who people can pay A LOT of money (to the tune of $15,000) to create fake blogs with stolen content and put their links on it to help their page rank. I'm curious if this blog isn't set up for that purpose since it's a relatively new blog.
Hah! Great one. My guess is they are using the RSS feed on the blog to just import your (and everyone else's) entries on that blog. But please don't axe the feed, as that's how I keep up with this blog and arhive my favorites in Google Reader :-). Thanks for all your hard work and great recipes!
Your friend Valerie emailed me because one of my links is also on that site... it's actually a blogger friend of mine who links up to a weekly meme that I have, and she had a link to my blog in her post. This has been happening for a while.
I checked the WhoIS on the site, and it has only been up since July, and has been stealing content from the beginning. I know that Ann filed reports with the Digital Milennium Copyright people, one for each stolen post, I believe. Have you done this yet? It's maddening to have your work stolen!
My blog friend Sara is an attorney, and she has a blog that outlines what to do about copyright theft. The post is here: http://www.savingforsomeday.com/blog-law-what-to-do-about-blog-copying/ Also if you go to her categories, click Blog Law in the drop down list and she has a many posts about the laws.
And on that note, I (Totally without thinking about it!) took the graphic you made and posted it on my blog, telling my readers that if their content has been stolen by that site, to post the graphic... like I said I wasn't thinking about it at all. I'm really sorry about taking the image, but think about this... what if every blogger who's had content stolen posted the same picture? :) The blog would be flooded with I STEAL CONTENT posts. Just a thought. Anyway, if you want me to take it down I will do that right away. I don't know what I was thinking! The graphic links to your blog and I also included a text link, but let me know please. Email me at dawn (at) 5kidsandadog(dot)com.
Thank you for posting this great blog. The subject is intriguing to me. I hope you post more about it soon. It gave me good deeper insight. support single mothers
