Sometimes I want to have a juicy burger without the bun and the lettuce and all that extra stuff. This is a simple recipe but the taste is just sooooo good, smothered in mushrooms and cream and beer and baked in the oven, YUM!
6 burger patties
1 small can sliced mushrooms
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup beer
2 TBSP ketchup
1 packet onion soup mix
In a bowl, combine cream onion soup, ketchup, beer and cream. Mix well.
Put the hamburgers in a pyrex dish and add the mushrooms, spreading them out over the burgers.
Pour the cream mixture over and bake in a 375º oven for 35 minutes or until cooked through and brown and bubbly.
Serve with a salad or fries or mashed potatoes or rice or whatever you wish. ENJOY!
